Brentuximab vedotin for advanced Hodgkin's lymphoma
Mené sur 104 patients atteints d'un lymphome hodgkinien classique de stade avancé récemment diagnostiqué, cet essai de phase II évalue l'efficacité, du point de vue du taux de réponse complète à la chimiothérapie et de la rémission complète en fin de traitement, et la toxicité de l'ajout du brentuximab védotin à une chimiothérapie de type BEACOPP modifiée et avec escalade de doses (bléomycine, étoposide, doxorubicine, cyclophosphamide, vincristine, procarbazine et prednisone) en traitement de première ligne (durée médiane de suivi : 17 mois)
Brentuximab vedotin—through CD30-targeted delivery of monomethyl auristatin E into Hodgkin Reed-Sternberg cells—has transformed the management of patients with classical Hodgkin's lymphoma, through both its high frequency and long duration of complete remission.1 Since the initial approval of this agent, there has been high interest in its successful integration into earlier lines of management.2–4
